I was born and raised in Newfoundland where I met and married the love of my life in our home town. His work while serving in the Military took our family from Manitoba, Newfoundland, Vancouver Island, with our final stop in Cold Lake, Alberta where we still reside since his retirement. I have worked for most of my travel career in store front agencies as well as for Air Nova while living in Newfo
undland. I have done a fair bit of traveling in my lifetime; including family trips, travel with my spouse, trips with my girlfriends, as well as work related travel. Some of my travel stays have included: Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Orlando, Oahu and Maui in Hawaii; Puerto Plata and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic; St. Lucia; Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Varadero in Cuba; Turks & Caicos; Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco, Mazatlán, Los Cabo, Mayan Riviera in Mexico. I’ve been overseas only a couple of time with a visit to Scotland; Rome, Venice and Florence in Italy and a most treasured visit to Egypt with a stop for the day in Athens. In 2015 a Trafalgar Coach Tour visiting London, Amsterdam, Heidelberg, Lucerne, and Paris helped me appreciate the fun of travelling with a group of strangers who shared a love of travel as much as I do. My cruise line experience has involved Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Disney with the journeys covering inside passage for Alaska, Eastern and Western Caribbean, and a Pacific Coastal cruise. My future wish list includes Ireland, a River Cruise and maybe Peru. One question that I always get asked is where is my favorite destination and without a doubt Mayan Riviera for the beach, culture and sites. Anything Disney related for family fun and thrills. For the adults; Las Vegas, working on visit #8, haven't spent a penny on gambling on the last 2 visits, too much else to do. Most favorable moment was a hot air balloon ride over the Valley Of The Kings in Egypt with my girlfriends.
