A Day of Joy in Brooklyn on October 26th, it's a retreat event for Mothers! It doubles as a fundraiser for Autism Unites, so attending is great for you, but it also is good for a cause!

This day is for DESERVING Mothers who value, self-care, freedom to self-expressi and who appreciate and NEED to have fun! We will be burlesque dancing, having deep sound healing meditation, centering relaxation experiences and a Wu Tao healing dance class. Tuning Fork Creations is dedicated to raising Autism awareness. Our launch event honors the memory of Jay Brown, son of our co-founder Merle Brown. Jay was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 1966 when little was known about the effects or ramifications of that diagnosis. Jay passed away on November 6, 2011. He was 47 years old.
