wanted to not only make jams in unique flavors but to make them a little healthier too. It's important to feel good about what you're eating and giving to your family, so we use quality ingredients like raw cane sugar, Grade A maple syrup, and gourmet vanilla beans. And we use a special pectin that doesn't require as much sugar to jell, which allows us to pack our jams with MORE fruit and LESS sugar. We also support local farms and buy ingredients local whenever possible. Why "Detroit" Jam Co.? To us, Detroit represents a creative spirit and drive that isn't found anywhere else. The handmade/DIY movement is being embraced here, and we're proud to be a part of that.
