Yesterday, I had the honour of attending the National Day celebrations hosted by His Excellency, Ambassador Tej Bahadur Chhetri of Nepal to the United Arab Emirates. Having worked closely with him during his time as Deputy Chief of Mission in London, it was a pleasure to reconnect. The event, held at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi, also gave me the opportunity to catch up with Madam Chhetri, embassy official Bhupendra Ghimire ji, and his wife.

It was a delight to meet and greet many distinguished guests, including the Minister of State, esteemed ambassadors from various countries, friends of Nepal, and fellow Nepalese.

Overall, it was a truly wonderful evening. My heartfelt thanks to Ambassador Chhetri sir and the embassy for their warm invitation. I’m very pleased I was able to attend.

Long live Nepal 🇳🇵 and UAE 🇦🇪 relations!

I was honored to attend the reception celebrating Mrs. Vidushi Rana's appointment as the new Honorary Consul and the inauguration of the new Iceland Consulate premises in Kathmandu.

It was a pleasure to reconnect with many esteemed friends, including Their Excellencies Iceland Ambassador Guoni Bragason, British Ambassador Rob Fenn, and Norwegian Ambassador Torun Dramdal.

Special thanks to my friend Knutur Oskarsson, Honorary Consul for Nepal to Iceland, for referring me as a guest to this special event. I also extend my gratitude to Mr. Rajendra Khetan, President of the Nepal Britain Chamber of Commerce, and Kapil Dev Regmi, President of Engineers Without Borders Nepal, for introducing me to many new friends. It was another memorable evening.

I was delighted to attend the welcome reception for the Everest Marathon runners at Hotel Shanker in Kathmandu last night. It was wonderful to reconnect with friends from the UK, Australia, New Zealand & India.

A special thanks to my dear friend Mr. Rajendra Khetan ji for encouraging me to join this event as a guest, and to our dear friend Kaji Bikram ji, a descendant of Sardar Kalu Pande Kaji Sahab, for organizing such a fantastic event.

Your legendary contributions to Nepal's tourism are truly appreciated. Keep up the great work—we are always united in our support for our Nepal’s tourism.

Our contributions are recognised, and we are valuable assets to the UK in various sectors.
