BANAUE SUGGESTED ITINERARY
1ST Day
6:00 am Depart at Manila
4:00 pm ETA in Banaue
Check In at Banaue Hotel
Manila to Banaue approximately 8 to 10 hours drive via Nueva Ecija and Nueva Viscaya. A short stop for Lunch. Banaue is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE
2ND day
8:00 am – 5:00 pm BATAD TOUR OR BANGA-AN VILLAGE
Departure by local jeepney to either Batad or Banga-an. Both are traditional villages nestled in a panoramic valley of terraces. Batad requires reasonable fitness level. Mingle with the natives and visit a typical home to see their way of life. Lunch.On the way back to the hotel visit Banaue Museum. If there is still time, you may opt to visit the market and local souvenir shop.
3rd day
8:00 am to 5:00 pm BANAUE-SAGADA-BONTOC-BANAUE
After breakfast in the hotel, we will start the day with a 3 to 4 hours ride (one way) to picturesque Sagada with its ancient burial caves and mummified coffins at Sugong & Echo Valley. Under guidance of a local guide you will see Lumiang Burial Cave and actually enter the impressive Sumaging Cave. Visit Bontoc’s tribal museum on the way back, with artifacts and beautiful pictures from the mountain tribes. Stop at Viewpoint to admire the Terraces. Return to Banaue for dinner

8:00 to 11:00 am BANAUE-MANILA
