🦏 We still have some spaces left on the 14 day Wildife Veterinary Programme:

For those that still want the experience of a riding safari on a smaller budget, but also want a bit of luxury.

Not everyone likes bush camp style accommodation, and some people prefer their own room. Welcome to the Horse Safari Volunteer Experience, at Boulders Lodge! The upgraded edition. ⬆️

Spend your day caring for horses, explore a 15,000 reserve on horseback, and relax your weary seatbones by the pool between rides.

Immersed in the heart of Nkomazi Game Reserve, home to lion, cheetah, elephant, zebra, giraffe, and plenty of plains wildlife and antelope species. Watch wildlife pass by as you relax. The adventure doesn’t end once you have dismounted! 🐆

A unique opportunity to take part on a low cost riding safari. Riders assist with the horses between rides, in return for 3-5 hours riding per day.
Two rides per day, morning and evening.

Join the adventure of a lifetime, exploring two beautiful reserves on horseback, and experience magical encounters with wildlife from the saddle.

Lauren, Amy, and Jessica just spent a few weeks on the Mixed Veterinary Programme, and shared some amazing pictures of their experience with us! 😍

The girls are all fourth year vet students from Bristol University, and they made a massive difference when putting their skills to use during community outreach work.

The Mixed Veterinary Programme encompasses a little bit of everything: community outreach, African wildlife, and farm/large animals. So the students got a very varied experience. 🐕 🐃 🦏

We hope they went home with some new knowledge and skills, and wish them the best of luck in their future veterinary careers. 🩺

Want to spend a month in absolute paradise? We thought so!

Why not take part on the Wild Coast Working Riding Holiday? 🐬 🐋

Perfect for those who want to go on a riding holiday but have a tighter budget.
Pay just a fraction of the normal cost for this riding holiday, and help care for the much loved team of trail horses, in return for riding.

Just GBP £375 per week.

Set in the relaxed seaside village of Kei Mouth, South Africa, take part in local life and perhaps spot a dolphin or whale from the saddle!

We’ve been giving a daily insight into Emily Napper and Sophie Wayper’s experiences on the Wildlife Veterinary Programme, but just as a quick recap, here is all of the animals they worked with over the two weeks:

Rhino Relocation! 🦏 🇿🇦

This beautiful white rhino was relocated to a new reserve as part of conservation measures for the species. And our wildlife veterinary students got super hands on and assisted!

Wild Inside Adventures offers an amazing opportunity to volunteer in South Africa on a range of different projects.

The projects we offer include veterinary experiences, conservation experiences and community work.

The projects are aimed at a wide range of people, from gap year travellers, those on a career break, vet students, pre-vet students, veterinary nurses, student nurses, vet techs, those trying to decide if a veterinary career is for them, or those who simply love being around animals and travelling!

The hands on approach on the projects mean students gain a wide range of different experiences, whilst having fun in the process!
