With Company is a student found dance company, based in Plymouth that focuses on the making and performing of high quality dance work for undergraduates and recent graduates. As students and as a company we have recognised and acknowledged the 3 year performance experience required to gain an audition or place in most professional dance or performance company's. In which With Company provides stud
ents the opportunity to create and perform work to a high standard; to gain a professional understanding of performance and receive feedback from working artists in the area. With Company is about a safe space, to allow the dancers to expand their practice. This could be through developing teaching skills, choreography or working with different bodies. All dancers in the company are welcome to try out their practice and build confidence about their activity. The company is inspired by collaboration and has been making networks with Media and Music students to influence the work we make. This has allowed not only Dance students but students across all arts forms to get involved and make high quality work. With Company is about making and performing with company.
