It's time to give blood and change lives!

Did you know that 1 in 3 people in Bairnsdale will need blood, and they need people like you to give it? The Australian Red Cross is rolling into town from 23 April to 10 May. Your donation could save lives!

We are continuing to offer free hot showers, mobile device charging hubs and free wifi for people impacted by a power outage.
Showers, charging point and free wifi at:
* Lakes Entrance Aquadome (9.00am to 5.00 pm weekends)
* Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation (9.00am to 5.00 pm weekends)

Showers and charging points:
* Metung Marina (open 24 hours)
* Lindenow South Recreation Reserve (limited capacity - Lindenow South and Lindenow residents only please)

Free wifi and device charging hub:
* Bairnsdale Library (Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm)

Do you travel on Nungurner Road, Nungurner?
From mid-July, we will be completing Black Spot funded works to improve user safety on this road.
We will paint 1.6 km of new line marking, including dragon teeth corner indicators, and install new warning and delineation signs and guideposts.
There will be some minor traffic delays. Please observe construction signs and any directions from the contractors during the works.

After lots of rain late last year and in March the GLakes suffered some Algae from run off. However Mother Nature has the GLakes in beautiful clean condition so much so Dolphins and Seala are prolific at the moment.
