AnthoNology LLC Anthony Mandel Johnson Jr., was born on May 30, 1996 with a crayon in his hand. He began having a passion for art at a very young age.

We can recall getting letters sent home from his kindergarten teacher, because he would just be drawing away on the rug in his classroom. At that point we knew we had an artist on our hands. On July 7, 2014 our son suddenly passed away from this earthly world, but we refuse to allow his legacy to go unnoticed! Prior to him passing, he wrote several college essays about how he felt about being an a

rtist and being successful in life for which we would like to share. One of my most prideful work experiences is being a young entrepreneur. People had their doubts and refused to support me due to my age, but I wouldn't let that tear my aspirations apart. I dreamed of using my artistic talents for the greater good and created my own design company. It was something I was constantly thinking about; obsessed with what it could become and the steps I would take to attain those goals. I reached out to every connection I could get in touch with and began taking advice. Now that I look back, I wouldn't have been able to do it without help from those generous individuals. A personal quality that I have always held in my highest regards is my artistic abilities. Ever since I was young I have loved anything that dealt with art. I would mimic the drawings of people more talented than I, which led me to honing my own skills. Drawing became an obsession and I was continuously working on my art, making the things I drew slowly more detailed and realistic. Very soon I would pick up a violin for the first time and fall in love with the distinct melodies it creates. It never occurred to me that music is a type of art until I got more involved in orchestra. Many of the accomplishments I have made today, would not have been possible without these skills and I’m thankful for being born with them. I have made a difference in peoples lives with my art. Just a simple song or drawing can bring light into someone’s life and the feeling you get is second to none. Not everyone can say they have a set skill and some do not find their niche until later on in life. It can be very frustrating not knowing what your purpose is or how you can set yourself apart from others. I tackle everyday obstacles with my artistic mindset and use it to my advantage. I hope to use my art in any way I can to make a difference in this world. No one but God can take these skills I was born with away from me and I am very proud of who I am and what I do. Art is one of the most important things to me. It is something I put forth a lot of effort in and it sets me apart from other individuals. I feel as if my art is a piece of my soul; a glance into the world of me. It is a talent of mine that I am constantly improving on and try applying to every aspect of my life. I can appreciate little things that are normally overlooked, based solely on their artistic value. Vibrant sunsets with robust reds and oranges to the iconic structures of a city, I value the beauty in everything. Being an artist has enhanced my life for the better; I am content with who I am and proud of what I do. I would not be who I am today without art and do not wish for any other talent. "I AM AN ARTIST!"

I want to do great things in life, to make the ones that have guided me down the right path proud. Whatever I do, I know I will love doing it. I don’t have to worry about things that doesn’t matter, like how much I make or how successful I am, because my happiness is my family’s happiness. This doesn’t mean that I don’t dream of one day being more successful than them. My goal in life is to make a difference in any way possible because everything a person does counts. Then, after I have done that, success shall follow. Our son was indeed a great artist in his own respect. He left behind many pieces of his work so that we may share it with the world. We thank God everyday for the talents he bestowed upon our youngest child. We will continue his company with the same intensity and drive he had. It was something that he loved and therefore we will ensure his legacy will live on forever!
