began as an idea to find a creative space for all of my different passions and then materialized into a powerful initiative for South Asian entrepreneurs. When Trisha Sakhuja-Walia and I started exploring the idea, I don’t think we could have foreseen the impact of this summit, but great things happen when the right energies align. After months of planning with the amazing Brown Girl Magazine team, I am super proud to be apart of the movement. I want to thank all of our sponsors for having faith in our vision and giving us the freedom & resources to see it through and I want to genuinely thank each and everyone one of you for coming out to support Slashie Summit! You made it unforgettable! 🙌🏽
It’s been a few days since Brown Girl Magazine's first-ever and we're still out of words and in awe of the positive, creative vibes in the room.
From the brand sponsors, to the amazing pop-up vendors, food and beverage sponsors, panelists, moderators and workshop facilitators, and swag bag partners, everyone made it their mission to make the summit a part of their life the past few months. You all took a chance on ’s vision to make this summit a reality, and so many of you went the extra mile to fly into the city and/or ship us hundreds of products. We truly appreciate you all!
What started off as a simple idea between Dallas Intuitive and Brown Girl Mag has manifested into something bigger than we could have ever imagined.
