ANNOUNCEMENT:

WE ARE HIRING!!

San Diego Coffee Crawl is an extension of Adventurous Travelers and we are expanding.

We are looking for energetic and passionate coffee connoisseurs to lead guests on coffee and art tours in the North Park area. (Looking to expand to other areas as well).

Looking for Guides who can create a lasting impression using a variety of tactics like engaging groups in stimulating conversations, humor, and providing coffee knowledge/education.

Ideal Guides would have work experience in the coffee industry or experience as a tour guide and be comfortable talking in front of groups (10-15), corral groups, be welcoming, accommodating and funny.

During this approx. 2.5hour tour, you would visit 5 coffee shops and sample 7 different coffees. You will be expected to explain the differences between all of them as well as be able to discuss the coffee journey from bean to cup.

Guests are really interested in knowing more about what is behind the black liquid they drink in their cup every morning and you are the portal to this journey for them!

This tour also includes 3 or more alley art stops (depends on group speed) as well as a history tour of North Park and San Diego.

Coffee industry experience is best.
Training is PAID!
You will shadow 3 tours, lead 2 with Supervision and then lead your own after.

Training pay is a flat rate of $40/tour for 3 tours.
After, you will receive a base rate of $50/tour + $5 for every 5 Star review + tips! (I've received a range of $0-$100 in tips for one tour- the average is usually $20).

The more you impress, the more you earn!!

You also receive FREE COFFEE and meet new friends from all over the world!

It's a lot of fun to host these and we are looking forward to you joining our growing team!!

Have you ever come across some stacked rocks on the trail? 🪨 ✨

Traditionally called Cairns, these are man-made piles of stones. They have apparently been used to mark trails for thousands of years and are still in use today. They may be placed along the trail to signify that you are on the right track.

Some religious traditions use them as parts of rituals or to mark spots for a person to stop and meditate. Archaeological evidence shows that some ancient Native American cultures used rock cairns to mark burial sites.

Rock stacking has carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries. The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance.
