Project one done! Sometimes it’s hard for people to understand, but we’ve been working to get this done for years! I’m only here 1-2x a year. The first plan was to get keys made because the lock only comes with 2. Simple, right? Nope! You can only find one manufacturer for this kind of lock. It’s made in china and no one has the right blank to make more keys. So take a key back to the states and get one, right? First the property manager tried that, then I tried it. No blanks! So I bought a new lock and took the whole thing back to the states to have it rekeyed. Finally done!

“Such a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea, perfect for a couple. It has everything you need for a self catered holiday, and cleanliness was not as issue. The bathroom is newly renovated, and the king sized bed makes for a great nights sleep. The wifi worked well, and the air conditioning was a godsend! The outside area is cosy yet spacious, perfect for relaxing. Morne Rouge beach is a 30 second walk away, and I think this is the most beautiful beach on this side of Grenada! White sand, clear blue water, very clean with 2 convenient beach bars for food and drinks. The locals are very welcoming and the bar staff go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Amber, our host, was very lovely and attentive, organising a taxi for us from the airport and meeting us at the apartment. She gave us her phone number in case we needed to contact her at any time. She also arranged for the cleaner to come at a convenient time. Super friendly and knowledgable! We had an amazing time staying here and definitely recommend the Shimmy Shack ☺️”
