Lambda Sigma National Honor Society: Alpha Eta Chapter- Penn State Erie Lambda Sigma is a sophomore honor society that is based on the four pillars of leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and spirt of service.

Members are invited after their first semester of freshman year if they have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or above. LAMBDA SIGMA NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Lambda Sigma Society is a national honor society for second year men and women dedicated to the purpose of fostering leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and the spirit of service among college students, and to promoting the interests of the college or

university in every possible way. Membership in Lambda Sigma is not only recognition for accomplishment, but also a challenge to serve throughout your college career and as an alumnus. Lambda Sigma offers opportunities for personal growth, leadership experience, a sense of involvement on your campus, and the friendship of other student leaders/scholars. As a member of a group of outstanding second year students, you will be challenged to fulfill your own intellectual and leadership potential while serving your college/university and your community. So, if you want to grow as a leader, serve your campus and community, develop friendships with other academic-minded second-year students, and be eligible for one of our $500 scholarships, then Lambda Sigma is for you. But remember, you have only one window of opportunity to be a part of this dynamic organization—that’s during your second year on campus. So, come grow and serve with students from around the country, and make your campus experience one that will change your life.
