Trying to decide between the happiest place on earth & the most magical place on earth? There’s so much to love about Disneyland & Disney World! Here are a few pics from our Mardi Gras vacation at Disneyland…along with some highlights:
1. WEATHER! WEATHER! WEATHER!
☀️☀️☀️It was perfection...Light jacket in the morning, beautiful during the day, and a light jacket in the evening. Nothing beats weather.
2. Size (especially for 1st-timers) that may be intimidated by the size of WDW.
3. It’s a true park-hopper situation. If you stay at one of the Disneyland resorts, you walk through security ONCE! You walk through Downtown Disney and can easily access both parks, Disneyland and Disneyland CA Adventures! No buses, no fuss! We stayed at the Grand Californian, and there’s even an entrance to CA adventures from the hotel.
4. Pixar Pier in CA adventures-treats, treats, treats! I highly recommend the nom-nom cookie. 🍪
5. Cars Land in CA adventures-Radiator Springs was a favorite ride! For younger kiddos, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ roadsters were all the fun!
6. Genie+🧞♂️: there’s pretty much always availability, so you really do get to take advantage of no waiting if you should choose this add-on option.
7. Characters everywhere! This was the 1st time I’ve seen Pinocchio and Geppetto.
