She obtains most of her quilts in the Midwest, and they are selected for good condition, history, and artistry. Her main interest is in finding the right home for each quilt so that it can be preserved and enjoyed to the fullest extent. Barbara is always happy to give advice to those who write to her, especially about woven coverlets. Not many shops offer woven coverlets or have experience with them like she does. She also buys quilts through her online connections.
