Hi Friends. I can't believe it's November. This time of year, travel is generally a little slower and allows me some time to look at what is on sale for the remaining year. Airfares are good! If you're looking to go somewhere before the end of the year, book it. I found airfare to Jamaica over Thanksgiving break for $420pp. Airfare has come down for 2024 too so don't wait to book your winter-break flights and consider your summer travels too.
What's hot next year? Cruises. If you plan to cruise, book early, they are filling fast.
Passport processing is back to normal time, 6-8weeks.
Don't forget Disney brought back the dining plan and in 2024 they are eliminating park reservations.

Hi Friends. The summer went quickly, and it was a busy one for sure.
I'm starting to see airfares drop. We've been waiting a long time for this! Flights to the Caribbean this winter, for example, St Lucia and St Martin are well under $700pp. This summer, they were over $900! I saw some great rates to Switzerland in December too. If you have intended travel dates, get your airfare booked.
The Real ID is back in the talks with the focus for it to go into effect May 2025. Keep that in mind if your ID is expiring beforehand. Might-as-well update your ID instead of waiting till there's a mad rush. (Passports supersede Real ID)

Here are some pictures of our trip to Jamaica. We stayed at the Azul Negril Beach Resort. I’d say the resort was a solid 3 1/2 star. The rooms, service, and food were good. My favorite restaurant was the Italian. I forgot to take pictures of our room, but we stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront suite. It was spacious and centrally located to everything. The pools were refreshing and clean. They were never crowded. The beach and sunsets were 10 star! That’s why you go to Negril. There was no seaweed. We saw starfish and fish. The water was so calm you could just float in a raft. The natural shade on the beach was a bonus and a signature for 7 mile beach. The beach beds were first come first serve and were not hard to come by. There were daily beach activities and the coordinator, Bones, was one of a kind.

The Mexican Navy has outlined its plan to deal with Sargassum on the beaches of the Caribbean in the newly released 2023 Sargassum Operation.

Something to keep in mind when planning your travel.

In response to increased passport demand, as of today, March 24, routine passport processing takes 10-13 weeks from the time we receive the application; expedited processing ($60 extra) takes 7-9 weeks. http://ow.ly/R61h50NrJn0

Processing times begin when the application is received by a passport agency and do not include mailing times. The new processing times only apply to applications submitted on or after March 24.

We strongly urge Americans to check their passport expiration dates before booking travel and apply for their passports at least six months ahead of planned travel or expiration date. We’re working hard to boost staffing, meet the demand surge, and get you traveling again.

Cancun- $559
Nassau- $630
Punta Cana- $672
Aruba- $722
San Juan- $565
Dublin- $861
Rome- $1240
London- $835

Travel to these destinations over the summer months, add $100-$200 to the prices.
It's hard to imagine airfare being this expensive, but it is. Plan ahead, it helps.

I have a lot to be thankful for this year. The industry certainly bounced back after covid and 2022 has been a successful year! Thank you for entrusting me with your travel plans. Thank you for your patience as I researched travel restrictions, new protocols to destinations, and ALL those travel forms that needed to be completed. I love my job, but I love it more because of the people I serve. You are the best.
