This gorgeous location is your Apostle Island sanctuary situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Superior and the Islands.

This is a beloved location for its magnificent views (photos don’t do it justice!) and generous common areas perfect for relaxing with friends and family. A coffee bar complete with Espresso machine makes mornings ultra sultry (or sweet if that is the way you like it).

Our beloved Harbor Hill House is a historic Victorian home with a long history of welcoming guests to beautiful .
Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Superior and the Bayfield Ferry Dock, you can watch the sun rise over the Lake from the spacious walk around deck, as well as the daily
crossings to Madeline Island.

We are so happy to be back at Meson Panza Verde Hotel this week for our Spirit of the Maya Photography Retreat with + . We have been enjoying the sights and sounds of Guatemala and diving into how to create travel images full of depth and meaning. Each evening we rest in finely appointed rooms at Meson Panza Verde where every corner is an artist’s haven. With every breath we say gracias!

We are so excited to return to you and stay at the exquisite Meson Panza Verde boutique hotel ✨ our home sweet home in Antigua during Douglas Beasley’s SPIRIT OF THE MAYA: Photography Retreat in Antigua & Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.

Did you hear? We still have one private room available for our September 7-16, 2022 photography journey where we begin with a walking tour of the beautiful colonial town of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day-trips to surrounding villages, portrait-making, exploring ruins and cultural sites will be the highlights of the trip.

During this retreat you will learn how to better respond photographically to the world around you - creating personal travel images with feeling, meaning and depth.

The retreat concludes at majestic Lake Atitlan which is a place considered sacred by the Mayans.
