Everything you need to know about Stubborn German Brewing Company...just a 10 minute walk from the chalet / cabin.

Thinking of visiting Stubborn German in Waterloo today? Here's what you need to know!
*We focus on German style beers, but have American styles as well. We have a huge bourbon selection, mixed drinks, and wine. We have 16 beers on tap, and we're proud that we make all of them in house.
*You're welcome to order food from local restaurants or bring food from home. We don't serve any food here.
*We are 30 minutes south of St. Louis. There's lots to do in Waterloo while you're here, so plan to stay a while!
*We are family friendly and have free capri suns for the kids.
*We have a walk up area at the bar (in the middle) where you can order drinks from. As our bartenders have time, they will come to your table to get drink orders, but if you're thirsty (right now), come to the walk up area.
*While you're here, check out our "bottle shop" where you can purchase whiskey bottles to take home. We also sell our canned beer to-go.
*You can expect delicious, locally made craft beer and an awesome time.
*Hours today (Sunday) 12-6pm.

Well, we FINALLY made it to Happy Hour Sports Bar. (Just a short walk from Timberwolf). A great local place to watch a game and enjoy food and drink. AND they are open on MONDAYS - when several other restaurants take a night off.

I used to think of the song "Over the River and Through the Woods" whenever we'd visit my Wolf grandparents in Waterloo for Thanksgiving. Now, many years later, I'm grateful to care for part of the family property that is Timberwolf Cabin and Chalet. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels, wherever you may celebrate.

Across street from historic stage coach stop, Peterstown House. Walk into town to visit Gallagher's Restaurant just across from Mill Street Treasures (gifts and antiques), or try one of the beers at either craft brewery Stubborn German or Hopskeller. Visit the unique shops in town or catch a play. During summer, grab one of our lawn chairs and head down to hear a free Tuesday night band concert at the town square. Bring your clubs and play one of the area’s public golf courses. Drive 25 minutes to downtown St. Louis and many other attractions. Or just hang out and play games, read books or watch a dvd.
