Valencia is a city that was once founded by victorious knights, will welcome participants in a legendary and epic adventure. ch, sun, sea, culture, mountain, and what it is more important, fun! That’s what this Summer University will offer you during eleven unforgettable days around Valencia. You will immediately fall in love with those places.
- Valencia is one of the biggest cities in Spain, and every year is getting more important, offering hundreds of different activities to make it even better than it already is. You will enjoy visiting the City of Arts and Sciences, playing beach games, swimming, a city tour at the historical district of the city and another on the modern one, workshops and lessons at the awesome facilities of the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia, and endless party nights. Appart from the valencian urban style you will see Roman old architecture, such as the theater and the castle in Sagunto, one of the biggest towns close to Valencia and present since glorious days of Hannibal Barca aiming to defeat an empire. But you will not be only in the surroudings of Valencia:
- Going to a castle on a big piece of land, participating in the local festival in a small town, enjoying the beach side during the best week of the year for it are some of the loads of things we will do in the north of Castellón.
- You can add to this the famous event that it is celebrated in Bunyol, called ‘La Tomatina’. This crazy one is about people wearing white clothes and throwing tomatoes to each other until there’s no more of them, just like that. Also this city is surrounded by mountains, small rivers and lakes, so hiking and swimming is mandatory if you go there. Now we just can hope to have you here this summer, and make you feel as comfortable as we can.
