This town has GROWN! I’ve only been away for 2.5 years, but around every corner I spot new things. Finding it quite fun to reengage this city like a tourist, daily letting curiosity guide.

Regardless of where I roam, I’ll always pull over a few deep breaths of a colorful sunset. Ahhhh 🙌🏼

So stoked to be going after new horizons! It’s been a freeing journey to release things that were not working out for me. What a delight to discover a welcome mat of new opportunities ready to go!

There need not be shame and anxiety associated with moving on. It is possible to just let go of the tight grip and joyfully let Life’s current take you into a new chapter!

Here is one of those precious moments that would not have been possible if I remained where I was. Damp from drizzling rain, perched on a mountainside trail, inhaling the beauty that is .national.park. I can’t help but think of the quote, “You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” —André Gide.

Throwback to my second time around the world, exploring the Old City in Jerusalem. Around every corner are surprises there! I loved staying in the heart of the city at the Imperial Hotel. The sights, sounds, and tastes of that place could never be forgotten.

One of the places I chose to live and work was Penang, Malaysia! My roommate was looking out at the sea in this photo. I so enjoyed the tropical breezes that kept our apartment cool🌴, the crazy local monkeys🐒, and the amazing variety of Asian food 🥘. Living there was better than I could have imagined! ⠀

Personally, this land has had a huge impact on my life! Walking in the same places where Jesus walked, seeing the exact locations where the disciples hung out, swimming in the Sea of Galilee, and getting to hear from the people of Israel first-hand are priceless memories. As a Christian, I found time in the Holy Land to be life-changing in my spiritual journey and faith connection.⠀

The major news stations are the first to inflate issues, so we often are not getting a clear picture of what's really going on there. I know this from first-hand experience!⠀

Overall, it's much safer than people realize. Ask anyone who has been - they will tell you that they didn't feel unsafe at all. ⠀
