cycled to and around the yesterday. The Winton Wetlands is a unique wetland restoration that combines nature, wildlife, art works and culture, walking and bike trails and more. Easy access via the bike trail from central Benalla or a short drive. The Mokoan & Hub Cafe provides a range of sumptuous meals and sensational coffee. Heaps of kangaroos and birdlife to see as well as many varied landscapes. Lots of history reemerging as the restoration reveals old school and homestead sites that were previously flooded with the construction of Lake Mokoan.

Eight balloons over Benalla today in the magnificent autumnal sun overlooking the lake and ceramic mural. They are getting ready for the world championships in Szeged , Hungary in September. Benson House and Benson Lodge proudly hosted the Hungarian national gliding team for the world championships held here in Benalla a few years back.
