Based in Penycaemawr (Usk), Countree Care provides tree surgery tree maintenance and hedge renovation or pruning / maintenance to clients throughout South Wales and the South West. Set up by Ian in 2004 after many years working gaining experience working on power line clearance the company and its employees have many years of experience in the tree surgeons market. The business provides companies

with a professional all tree services and has the necessary equipment for all aspects of tree work. Specialists in tree surgery including sectional felling, crown reduction, pollarding, work undertaken ranges from shrub reduction and tree pruning to the removal of dangerous, overhanging trees in difficult locations. Clients include private householders, housing associations, large private estates, local authorities and the Woodland Trust. Tree surgery is carried out by skilled and qualified operators. Work is carried out to recognised aboricultural practice and to National BS3998 standard. Countree Care operates in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation is CHAS accredited and has 5M Public Liability insurance and 10M Employer Liability Insurance. Friendly tree surgeons will give advice on all aspects of tree work including tree preservation orders. Countree Care has a professional team, of NPTC qualified climbers and other operators. Work teams have a qualifies first aider and an aerial rescuer for all climbing work in line with good practice.

Our Story

Based in Usk, Countree Care provides tree surgery and site clearance to clients throughout South Wales and the South West. Set up by Ian in 2004 after many years working for large power line clearance companies, Countree Care has become an established provider for both domestic and commercial clients. The business provides professional tree surgery and site clearance, and has a large range of specialist equipment such as excavators with tree shearers, large flails and a forestry mulcher and a variety of wood chippers. Our fleet includes a Scania Hook lorry that provides the transport to site and which can remove any resulting debris or material.

Clients include the construction industry, local authorities and land management organisations and large charitable organisations. Tree surgery is carried out by skilled and qualified operators, to recognised aboricultural practice and to National BS3998 standard. Countree Care operates in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation is CHAS with construction accredited. We also have £5m Public Liability, £5m Pollution Insurance and £10m Employer Liability Insurance. We provide will give advice on all aspects of tree work including tree preservation orders.

Extensive experience providing advice on site management regarding tree and shrub removal pre-construction, and liaison with local tree officers and appointed ecologists. Countree Care has a professional team, of NPTC qualified climbers and other operators. Work teams are all EFAW+F qualified and have an aerial rescuer for all climbing work in line with good practice. Many of the team hold CSCS and CITB health and safety for site operators
