WHAT'S THAT? A BLOG POST. IT'S BEEN FOREVER SINCE THEY POSTED ANYTHING.

We know.

The title of this blog was decided when Dan couldn't think of anything to call it. So he put his music on shuffle and found the first song title that came up. It could definitely be worse.

We haven’t posted in a while. Again. There’s a reason for that. Read below: Travelling is a mixture of emotions both real and imaginary. It’s exhausting, demanding and takes a toll on...

We have jobs. In Melbourne.

Life's peachy at the moment.

Job interviews aplenty today. Fingers are a-crossing.

We debated long and hard about the title of the next blog post. Dan insisted on bringing up Enzo Amore. Lauren laughed. And thus it was.

You get why we are never considered cool, right?

We said we’d recap the second half of our detour-escapade to Adelaide once we returned to Melbourne. Here we are. You may have seen that WE SWAM WITH SHARKS! This isn’t the first time we’ve ...

We're back in Melbourne - a good thousand or so miles later!

It's nice to be back in our - sort of - home again.

Loads of errands to run tomorrow. Why can't we just swim with sharks every day? Life would be so much better.

Fearless.

THE BLOG IS BACK ON!

Apologies for not posting. It's a long one today. You'll need a couple deep breaths and maybe one or two beverages.

There is no Simpsons reference though, sadly. Next time though...

First blog post in a while. Yeah we know, the inhumanity, right? We’ve had no WiFi for days, and we can’t publish via 3G. We apologise for not doing this sooner and for keeping you waiting. But we ...

Just made it to Adelaide. Finally.

We haven't blogged in a few days because we're still only able to get a 3G connection at this time. We haven't forgotten about it. We've been on the road solidly for 3 days. Travelled about 900 miles to get here.

As soon as we get access to WiFi, we'll update with our escapades through from Melbourne to Adelaide. It'll be a good one! Bear with us.

Bad view.

New roomies seem nice. They love perfume though. Really quite a lot.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS.

*UPDATE*

We've decided to extend our stay in Melbourne for a couple more nights. We will now check out on the 6th January (if all goes according to plan) - this is to allow for any delays in the arrival of our bank cards, tax numbers etc.

As we have pretty much fallen in love with Melbourne, we have also decided that we will work here for a little while. For exactly how long we don't know, but this will be a good opportunity to see more of a city we like a lot.

So if all goes to plan, we'll be leaving on the 6th January for a brief detour to Adelaide and Port Lincoln to swim with some Great White sharks. You know, as you do. We'll be here for a good few days and return to Melbourne probably about a week afterwards, give or take a few days. Then the journey towards work begins. From there, only time will tell.

We'd be lion if we said today wasn't filled with animals.

So the case of the noisy roommates strikes again. Our paths even up until now have yet to cross properly, where we are all awake at the same time. Well, that’s not entirely true – they were ...

Shoutout to the penultimate day before New Year's Eve for giving us terrible tasting beverages, an excess of bacteria and a near-chance to meet an actual wrestler.

On the plus side, Dan's heroism really showed today.

Did we kick today’s ass? Yeah we did. Basically we had the peakest of mornings. Our roommates were leaving early onto their next journey, but did they decide to make thunderous amounts of no...

Did you really think it would be this long before we mentioned John Cena again? No, nor did we.

We like it in Melbourne. We will be here again.

Melbourne is being kind to us. Just soaking in the vibe of being in a new place, with new surroundings, 11,000 miles away from home is a challenge. But we’re doing it, and loving every secon...

We travelled 1000 miles yesterday.

And yes, now you probably have The Proclaimers in your head.

You can tell we're having fun in Melbourne, not being confined to a vehicle.

We saw Sydney Opera House and Star Wars today. We're not sure how much better today could get.

It’s Christmas Eve Eve. This time last year we had our winter coats on, a fire, more than likely a hot drink in hand and probably some Christmas movie on. This year, the 23rd was spent doing...

Penultimate day in Thailand. Sharks, dogs and a hell of a load of antibiotics.

We're heading to Australia in a couple of days.

Today was...eventful, shall we say? Yes, let’s call it eventful. Not in the purest sense, as unfortunately much as if we were back home, we woke up to RAIN. AGAIN. Turns out that due to seve...

*STAR WARS RELATED POST*

Not really.

Waves, alcohol, news, drama and wrestling references. All the things that make up a good day in Thailand.

We may not be seeing Star Wars just yet, and we may have missed NXT Takeover, but it’s okay, because we’re in Koh Samui and got to enjoy warm weather and a bit of sunburn. No, really. Actual...

Last day in Ao Nang.

Sadly our hotel does not live up to its reputation. There are no smiles at the moment. It's a sad evening leaving such a beautiful town.

We're so pop punk.

This will be a relatively quick blog today. Not that we haven’t done much but it’s just this hotel has only one charger socket and Dan’s tablet has 30% battery. Typing on a bluetooth keyboar...
