Please join us on our trip to fabulous New York City where you will enjoy the best of shopping, eating, sightseeing and shows. This is not your everyday trip to New York, we have included lots of extras and surprises to keep you laughing and making memories that will last a lifetime. DAY 1:
Our first day on the road. We will meet bright and early at the Exhibition Grounds in Fredericton for an 8:0
0 am departure. No time to waste as we make our way to Portland, Maine with a few stops on the way for duty free, coffee breaks and lunch break. That evening we will be staying in Portland for the night. The hotel we are staying in has a Managers Reception where they serve complimentary cocktails and snacks. For anybody who cares to shop, we will provide transportation to the Maine Mall. The hotel also has a swimming pool and hot tub for those who want a more relaxing night to rest up for the days to come. DAY 2:
After a sit-down delicious breakfast at our hotel, we will hit the road again bright and early, with a stop for a light snack and wine tasting for lunch at a Connecticut Vineyard where we can experience the wine that Connecticut Valley is famous for. This afternoon we will head to New Hamshire to our hotel for the night - The Hampton Inn. Perhaps a trip to the Clinton Crossing Outlets will be in order for those shoppers amongst us, and for those who want - The Hampton Inn has an indoor heated swimming pool for lounging and fun. DAY 3, 4, 5 & 6
After another breakfast (included) we will be off to exciting New York City where we will stay at a hotel right in downtown Manhatten. During the next few days we may make a pitt stop at “The Cake Boss” for a pastry; have a guided tour of New York with our favourite tour guide; experience a top selling broadway play with famous actors and actresses and have some free time do do things on your own. You can take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, or take a carriage ride in Central Park. Top of the Rock has an amazing view and The Today Show tapes in the morning if you want to get up early and be part of the audience. The museums in New York are spectacular - The famous Met and The Museum of Modern History where familiar movies were filmed are definitely worth a visit. There are also lots of television shows taped in New York City where you can be a part of the audience. DAY 6:
On our last day in New York, we will head to lower Manhatten where we can visit the Ground Zero Memorial, perhaps do a little Chinatown shopping and meet in Battery Park to head to Connecticut where our hotel for the night is 5 minutes away from the largest mall in the state. Again - there is a pool for those who choose to relax and refresh. DAY 7:
We will leave Connecticut bright and early, but don’t worry - your trip is not over yet! We will make our way to Portland, Maine. Our hotel for the night has a shuttle to The Maine Mall or The Christmas Tree Shop is across the street. This is a beautiful hotel, and has a pool and hot tub if you just feel like relaxing and resting up from your exciting New York adventures. DAY 8:
On day 7, after another wonderful breakfast (included) we will travel back
to New Brunswick with a stop at the Bangor Mall and the Duty Free Shop to purchase all your extras.
