Many thanks to everyone for all your kind messages :) Hurricane Irma has been and gone, we've had lots of clearing up to do but thankfully no damage to the roof or windows. Fences on both sides have gone down and some pool screen panels have been ripped out. Now waiting for insurance assessor to visit. Hopefully the next hurricane, Jose, will stay out in the Atlantic.
