I’ve always loved liquorice and have recently discovered Whitby shop the Pot and Pineapple, in Skinner Street, has satisfied my cravings with dozens of different variations - it’s very popular in Scandinavian countries too apparently. Oh and the shop sells some lovely gifts too! It’s just about a 100 metres from Clarence House.

A number of my guests book for a celebration - a birthday, anniversary or special occasion and often ask for restaurant recommendations. If great food is what you’re looking for I can certainly recommend Ditto’s in Skinner Street. The combination of flavours is superb. But book early, there’s only a few slots on the three nights of the week they’re open. But it’s worth the wait!
