The town’s famous Abbey, high on the Cliff top affords fantastic views of the coastline.
Wander around the grounds of the 1500 year old ruin and discover stories of saints, poets and Dracula.
The first Goth weekend of the year is on April 26-28th - an amazing spectacle to watch as much as be part of.

I was in Whitby yesterday and I would just like to say I never rely on my phone’s weather forecast for Whitby because thanks to Whitby’s lovely micro-climate (the vast majority of the time) it is always so much nicer. Try it gir yourself, limited availability left in May.
