South Africans will observe the world’s largest super moon this evening. The Super Buck Moon will be the most visible this evening at around 20h35. When a super moon occurs, the moon appears much larger in the sky due to its close proximity to earth in its orbit. Tonight the moon is going to be an estimated 357 264km away from earth. If you miss it this evening, experts have assured that the super moon will still be visible for the remainder of the week.

Lessons in Mother Tongue on it's way 🎉

The Basic Education Department has announced it is developing a strategic plan to promote South Africa's languages that have been marginalised in schools. The department's spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga says the indigenous South African languages will be used for learning and teaching from Grade 3 to Grade 12. Mhlanga says mother tongue teaching will enable learners to learn and understand better by using their home language.
