We are two soul sisters living high on life. We are two nomads that love to inspire and to be inspired. Due to our work in the fashion, media and travel industry we travelled a lot and we have been inspired by many cultures. We met the most amazing people and experienced many different cultures and flavours. One thing that always appeared during our travels is our passion for local sweet delights.
After tasting all those amazing delights, we believe that there is still nothing that beats the most famous Dutch delight: the ‘Stroopwafel’. That’s why in 2011 we decided to follow our sweetest dream and started spreading love in the most beautiful city on earth: Cape Town. We started 'baking' love and Sweethearts was born. A Sweetheart is a homemade, heart shaped caramel waffle, made with a unique recipe. A Sweetheart is made with love and will fill you with love. Many Cape Tonians have already been illuminated by the love effect of our Sweethearts. The Sweethearts spread love at events, festivals and local markets. Our clients vary from Doppio Zero, Café Caprice, Hype Media, Goldfish, MilQ and Honey House of Fashion, Health and Beauty, Maersk and Superette. We've spread love at the Design Indaba, Flamjangled Tea Party, Afrika Burn and at Cape Town's finest food markets City Bowl & Earth Fair Food.
