It's in the details right? Both these pictures show something that started off as a mistake or a problem. The 'cup cupboard' was supposed to be deeper and a place to store cooking books. When I saw the actual size of it, I told them to add two extra shelves and decided to make it my 'cup sanctuary'. I love cups. I simply enjoy a cup of tea more in a pretty cup. And so why not showcase them?
The corner shelves hide an electricity problem where I wasn't allowed to close the wall up because of a mistake my electrician made. So I looked for a creative solution that would help me forget another frustrating building step. Mission accomplished!
