Beatech Technical Solutions was founded by Edmund Blumeris, a qualified fitter and turner, N.Dip. Administrative Management and SAMTRAC through NOSA, with 38 years
experience in the field of engineering. Beatech Chemical Solutions was founded recently by Angela Govender, qualified Chemical Engineer. With the merging of these two engineering disciplines the company can now take on more diverse pro
jects and serve more industries. Beatech Technical and Chemical Solutions’ core business is to provide a service for clients requiring special production solutions in the field of machine design and manufacture, fitting and turning, toolmaking, metal fabrication, mechanical, electrical and chemical process controls and automation designs. Even though our prime objective is to be a successful and financially sound organisation, we have at heart the need to create and sustain employment through intensive training of staff and apprenticeships for young workers. We are a company resourced with highly skilled personnel to deal with mechanical design and manufacture (machining and machine building) with the aim of improving production systems and methods. Teams of artisan and assistant are on call all hours to attend to running maintenance problems and an established workshop caters for major overhauls, machine building, steel fabrication and a fully established tool room. The teams are equipped to work on site with the necessary tools and equipment at hand and mobile. We are committed to conform to our clients’ health and safety systems and policies and we ensure that all our equipment is OHSACT compliant. We are compliant with SARS and COIDA and have the certification. The company is BEE compliant as it is owned and directed by a previously disadvantaged individual and the staff profile reflects, and aims to extend further, full demographic compliance. Continuous training is the order of the day as we always ensure that work is of a high quality for endurance and aesthetics and ease of use for operators. We also pride ourselves on ensuring turnaround times are expedited to eliminate the risk of loss of production due to lengthy holdups. The purpose of us reviewing design of existing systems is always to improve workflow and quality, eliminate operator frustration and increase output with minimal increases in input. Being in the field of engineering, we also supply machines and spares (re-supply or manufacture), pneumatics, all bearings, pulleys and belts, linear bearings and shafts, ball screws and nuts, hydraulic requirements, fluid dosing and reticulation requirements, process chemicals and general engineering consumables. This area of our business is also treated with quality of service and expeditious delivery.
