Most of the African Countries’ Embassies are open.
The USA have re-opened their calendar (although the first appointment available in Johannesburg is the 9th of March)
All Schengen Countries are closed.
The UK is open to visitors subject to a 14 day Quarantine
China is open to visitors subject to a 14 day Quarantine

Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula will release COVID-19 regulations and directives related to transport on Wednesday, 30 September 2020 at 15h00
The announcement follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s pronouncement of moving to level 1 of the government’s risk adjusted approach, allowing more economic activity which includes amongst others the opening up of international aviation travel.

We will keep you all informed of the details as soon as possible. We understand that you are all so anxious to travel and we are immensely anxious to assist in making it happen. But we plead - please don't make any hasty decisions and book a last minute special online. If something looks to good to be true, it most likely is to good to be true. The U.S. Department of State understands that many visa applicants have paid the visa application processing fee and are still waiting to schedule a visa appointment. We are working diligently to restore all routine visa operations as quickly and safely as possible. In the meantime, rest assured that U.S. Missions will extend the validity of your payment (known as the MRV fee) until December 31, 2021, to allow all applicants who were unable to schedule a visa appointment as a result of the suspension of routine consular operations an opportunity to schedule and/or attend a visa appointment with the already paid fee. What was a thriving industry 6 months ago is now having to start from the bottom. By supporting travel agents, you will also still be supporting accomodation establishments and airlines, to name just a few. We're in this together.
