Notre merveille africaine. Il a été voté en 2012 comme l'une des 7 merveilles du monde. La montagne de la table est instantanément reconnue à travers le monde et constitue une toile de fond impressionnante pour la ville. Il fait partie d'une chaîne de montagnes de grès s'étendant à travers la péninsule du Cap, et sa principale caractéristique est le plateau, flanqué de Lion's Head à l'ouest et de Devil's Peak à l'est. La végétation sur la montagne se compose de fynbos du Cap et plus de 2000 espèces de plantes trouvées ici sont uniques à son emplacement. Le dassie (ou hyrax rocheux) est le mammifère le plus commun. La construction d'un téléphérique pour accéder facilement au sommet de la montagne. Le téléphérique peut transporter 65 personnes et dispose de planchers pivotants qui permettent aux passagers de profiter d'une vue à 360 degrés. Comparé aux premières voitures construites en 1929 transportaient 19 passagers et un conducteur.

It was voted in 2012 as one of 7 wonders of the world.
Table mountain is instantly recognised across the world and forms an impressive backdrop to the city. It is part of sandstone mountain range extending across the Cape Peninsula, and its main feature is the plateau, flanked by Lion's Head to the west and by Devil's Peak to East.
The vegetation on the mountain consist of Cape fynbos and over 2000 species of plants found here are unique to his location. The dassie ( or rock hyrax )is the most common mammal. The construction of a cableway to give easy access to the top of the mountain. The cableway car can carry 65 people and boast revolving floors which allow passengers to enjoy views through 360 degrees. Compare to the first cars constructed in 1929 carried 19 passengers and a conductor.

One of the world's greatest botanical and horticultural institution, Kirstenbosch, headquarters of South Africa's National Botanical Garden,is the premier centre for the study and propagation of South Africa's indigenous Flora.
Located about 12 km from Cape Town in the long shadow of the eastern slopes of table mountain, the 528-ha estate is filled with over 7000 cultivated tree and plant species.

Bo-Kaap homes clustered on the lower slopes of signal Hill to the right of Rose Street provide lively splashes of colour. In the background is Lion's Head the the table mountain. Once called the Malay Quarter, where many slaves made their home after emancipation in the 1830s.
