🔴FOR SALE🔴

This 6 seater original High court Jury bench is remarkably comfortable. The seats fold up as well. We have used it for many different things, e.g. seats at one side of a longer table. On other occasions on the stoep when we entertain etc etc. This is a keeper. Unfortunately I have to sell it due to renovations 😢

Two of our rooms (a 3rd is on its way) boast these little kitchenettes (installed by H&O Interiors) - ideal for warming up meals from our local SPAR, Woolies or Savior Cafe. Alternatively, you can enjoy a slice of toast with your morning coffee.

We have not done a post on this Terebinte page in such a long time! I think it is because Terebinte is simply an extension of our home and who we are. We don't see it as a separate entity 😍. It is a philosophy that we live by (Terebinte being the picture of an oak tree that stands with its roots so deeply planted in the earth that storms will not be able to uproot it).

We obviously experienced difficult and quiet times in the last two years, but our two rooms have a life of their own. They welcome who they need to at the right time and most people find something here, and then return to us again.

Durban has its very real challenges but there is always something beautiful to celebrate and a reason to visit our city. As long as people do that, we will be open and ready to receive them ♥️♥️

Terebinte is about to have a major revamp and relaunch!

Having sold our other beloved B&B, Tamarisk, we are now back to having our two rooms at Terebinte only, which have served us so well in the last six years.

Exciting times and hard work lie ahead but it is necessary.

It is also wonderful to be able to express our love for beautiful things and colour through our property and hopefully inspire and ignite something in the lives and hearts of our guests.

Watch this happy space!

The magic which is Terebinte.

Someone gave us a shocking and very unfair review this weekend. We know we have to step back and release it but it is difficult sometimes. We then have to stand firm on what the meaning of our name is : "oaks of righteousness" - trees that are rooted so deep that wind and storms will not uproot it or blow it over.
