People with a low financial IQ are impressed by bad spending habits.
Do you think that you can impress Strive or Patrice Motsepe by blowing R100k in one night on alcohol?
Or by driving a R500k car when you have no furniture.

The problem with us is that we want to impress people with a low financial IQ instead of impressing our role models.

A girl who knows nothing about money can be impressed by your R25k shoe but not a business man with a R500 million property portfolio.

My point is we should stop trying to impress the wrong people.

If you can go to the Township corner today and tell them that you bought the new S class when you don't even own an acre of land Those people in the Township will be impressed.
But a real business man will not go into business with someone who has such a low IQ.

ASK your self this question. Who do you look up to?
Do you think he will be impressed by your financial decisions. ?

I'm matured enough in such a way that I don't care what other people are doing. I don't compete.
You can buy 5 Range Rover's at 25 I don't care and I'm not distracted. I move in my own lane and face my own struggles.

Problem with people they moving in other people's lanes without discovering themselves first or their gifts and enjoying their own Journey.

Cristiano Ronaldo makes plus R300 million a year by posting picture's on instagram, Kevin Hart makes R400 million a year through comedy babe's wodumo makes R100000 per show. The founder of WhatsApp spent not more than R1 million building WhatsApp and sold it for plus R40 billion.

Real gold is not on the ground real gold is the gift that God has given you.
Take a moment and discover yourself forget about what's happening in the world.

What are you good at? Focus on it your billions are there. Don't worry about time if it takes you 15 years to succeed it's fine. That's your own Journey. We all have different journeys so you don't have to compete with anyone.

School is open now how about selling some stationery.
Buy 30000 pens at R0.15 per unit that's like spending plus minus R7000 including shipping.
Sell the pens for R2
You make a turnover of R60000
If you sell them at R5 each you make R150k.

How hard will it be to sell cheap pens?
Your target market is obviously schools, work places! Tuckshops etc.
You need to supply them to wholesalers mostly.

Pens are used throughout the year. Risking R7500 to make R60000 is not bad at all. It sounds like calculated risk to me.

2017 I wrote.:
I don't mind going broke and eating peanut butter and brown bread because I've invested all my money into my business.

Some start up entrepreneurs are stuck with debt just because they try so hard to meet society standards either then investing in their business.

I Wear pep and Mr Price, I travel with a bus from Zimbabwe to SA I buy meat at Jwayelani.

People can't dictate how I should live my life.

I know a lot of Indian's and Chinese who live cheap lives save money and end up buying building's. There's plenty of people who are visionaries who live cheap and save money or invest in their businesses.

Problem with us young entrepreneurs we are so concerned with meeting people's standard's rather than focusing on growing our businesses. That keeps us at the bottom of the pyramid.

That's why not many black owned companies are listed. We hustle for the lifestyle not for growth or to create wealth.

The mindset has to change if we ever want to compete in the market place.
