Our guests have been enjoying surprise visits by the wildlife in our estate. On Friday, we had the Living Lekka team check-in and shortly after their arrival the zebras were on their doorstep to welcome them. Yesterday, the eland heard the fantastic news that we have 1000 followers and came by to congratulate us 😄

PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA: Danger Point Lighthouse - 5km away

The Danger Point Lighthouse is located in Gansbaai, Western Cape, South Africa. It was first lit in 1895 to warn ships of the hazardous coastline and dangerous reefs in the area. The lighthouse stands 18meters tall and offers a panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding landscape. It's a popular tourist attraction, not only for its historical significance but also for its scenic beauty. The lighthouse was named after the perilous reefs that have caused many shipwrecks, the most famous being the HMS Birkenhead in 1852.
