We are now official members of George Trails and are dedicated to make George, the outdoor adventure hub of South Africa.
Our Herold Wine Trail has become a popular day excursion and includes an hour ride up Montagu Pass on the George Powervan, a 9km hike to Herold Wines on the northern side of Cradock Peak.
On arrival at Herold Wines our guests have lunch and wine tasting is also something worth experiencing.
After lunch we transport the guests back to the Outeniqua Railway Museum, where there Herold Wine Trail, starts.

Yesterday's Herold Wine Trail was spectacular. The recent rains experienced in George and the surrounding region turned the trail into a water wonderland.

Beervlei Dam between Willowmore and Aberdeen has had water in it for most of 2024. Unusual for a dam that was built to actually control flood waters, instead of to store water.
