CAPE ROADTRIP 2024 continued... R323, Western Cape Karoo heading towards the breathtaking Seweweekspoort Pass. The R323 countryside is stunningly tranquil with quaint traditional farm cottages dotted here and there hinting at civilisation in this remote Karoo farming community. This extensive gravel road is in excellent condition.

Cape Roadtrip continued: June 2024
Enroute from Kagga Kamma to Prince Albert, we did an early morning coffee stop along the N1 at Touwsrivier, Western Cape, South Africa , at the Kroonplaas Padstal. The shop has had a lovely upgrade since we last stopped there some years ago, and the gift section is still full of wonderful goodies. And wonderfully friendly welcoming staff! We chatted a little to the friendly and knowledgeable lady at the tourism counter too.
Then we got back on to the N1 and headed for a stop in MATJIESFONTEIN 🤩
