So after much back and forth we got this news this morning.....Congratulations, your husband qualifies to be registered as a British Citizen....so the process begins....

The first step…unabridged certificates applied for dating back to the early 1900s, grandparents, parents and children. Seeing mothers with babies sitting on hard plastic chairs, reinforces the lack of care or duty government feels for its people…relatively easy process, about two hours in total, caused major back up at payment counter paying for all the applications. Not sure how four were printed as I waited but have to go back in 4 months for the rest. And so it starts!
