A week in the Kruger National Park was great! The rains have arrived and I was greeted with a fantastic thunderstorm, after the rains all the small things come out like the reptiles and insects and the bush is alive again and greening up as we speak!! So good to see and tourism is opening up again too!!

Botswana tops it for game again! We had fighting lions chasing 4 young males out of the pride and killing one of them, Lionesses of another pride chasing off an interloping male and calling in their own 2 pride males as backup, a lioness with tiny cubs stashed away and much more. Amazing! Oh yes, the 4 dejected males paid me a visit in the night and sniffed my tent, chewed up a water bottle and buggered off!

Uganda trip coming up in December this year if anybody would like to join us for some gorilla trekking, chimpanzees and some incredible wildlife and scenery, we do have 2 seats left. The pearl is one of Africa's best kept secrets, simply breathtaking!!!

Haven't posted anything for a while! I have been in th bush almost non stop this year but we have had a fantastic year with some incredible sightings and unforgettable memories. Thanks to everybody who joined us on our safaris this year. Next trip is to Uganda next week and I am looking forward to returning to the'pearl of Africa'!
