As a Tour Operator you must be able to convince travelers who are in transit for more than 5 hours to wait at the Airport. When your staff are well trained and understand that our province Gauteng have more to offer to clients in transit than you are on top of your game.

We receive a call from travelers from Italy asking what they can do for a short period in Jobourg as their transiting back to Italy. From 11h20am till 5pm they suppose to be at OR Tambo waiting for their flight back home but with our knowledge, been the expert, we manage to sell the Soweto Bike Tour as you can see below from the pictures, this was the most beautiful way of ending their 20 days in Namibia with only 5 hours in my Jozi.

One of them even said, if only we knew, we could spend 10 more days here.

Just for your information, they have never been to South Africa - Johannesburg.

The Elephant Sanctuary has African elephants and offers an interactive elephant experience with overnight accommodation. We offer hands-on educational elephant interactions. This provides our guests with a far more intimate experience with the elephants.

Elephant Program:
7 days a week, at 08h00; 10h00 and 14h00

Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Our well-informed guides will provide you with in-depth information and insight about African Elephants! You will meet, face-to-face, these gentle giants and experience their warm breath and their unique trunks while feeding them. Take a walk with these majestical giants and appreciate them in their natural habitat.

You will get to interact with our elephants and touch them all over their uniquely created body parts, from the front to the back. Here you will meet the Caretakers, where you can appreciate and become part of the special, trusting relationship they share with our elephants. You will also learn so much more interesting facts about the unique way elephants are created and formed in the Anatomy area. We want you to be well informed and become ambassadors for all the Elephant Species in a world that needs your protection.

Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats, and bring your camera.

The 08h00 session includes assisting the Caretakers with the morning brushing down of the elephants.

THE PANORAMA ROUTE REGION, MPUMALANGA
One of the country's most scenic self-drives, the Panorama Route, explores the Mpumalanga highlands, or the north-eastern section of the Great Escarpment of the Drakensberg. In these rugged mountains the plateau comes to an abrupt and dramatic halt, falling steeply away into the Lowveld accompanied by incredible views out over the grasslands of Africa.
