The @knysnaoysterfestival came to a close yesterday and what an amazing 10 days! Town has been buzzing with so many events & activities.
We went exploring over the final weekend stopping in at @nest_foodbar on Thesen Island for an energy-boosting cuppa☕️ (highly recommend this spot).
Next, we stopped at the main sports field to support the incoming cyclists and also made our way over to the CrossFit Games - a new addition to the festival that will keep you on the edge of your seat. In the very unusual 30 degree mid-winter heat - it was nothing short of intense watching these athletes compete!
Next up, it was our turn to break a sweat and Padel is everyone’s new obsession! The @liv_padel_sa courts at Knysna Hollow offer an awesome workout in the fresh air and sunshine. There’s a coffee shop, store and showers plus the mountains & natural forest offer the most spectacular backdrop.
Exhausted and full of much-needed endorphins, it was time to close off the day with a chilled drink in hand watching the sun set behind the mountains.
