Pam's Place, South Africa

Pam's Place, South Africa I bought my dream home in a perfect South African setting near Johannesburg to share with family, friends and guests. I'm now welcoming guests of my own.

There is so many more places in this wonderful world I am aiming to experience. Recently I bought a home in South Africa to be near family who have lived in this beautiful country for the past 35 years. I have a son and his fiancée living in Melbourne, Australia and a close group of friends in England. Airbnb home owners have made my travel destinations accessible within tight budgets and I have m

et some fantastic people along the way. My home here has great open views, a good size swimming pool and the most brilliant garden that surprises and delights me every new day. There is so much to see around Johannesburg and the people are simply lovely with huge welcoming smiles. I love showing off all aspects of South Africa to my English and Australian friends; from Safari's, amazing mountain ranges, wide open scenery and Kruger National Park to Johannesburg City, Sandton and Soweto, fantastic restaurants and night life. No one can resist falling in love with this diverse country and it's people. I certainly did.

Our Story

In 2014 I made a life changing decision to sell up in England, travel to places I’d never been before. After some months visiting family in South Africa I bought a home with stunning views and beautiful terraced gardens. I have a son and his fiancée living in Melbourne, Australia and a close group of friends in England. Airbnb, Travel Ground and Safari Now home owners have made my travel destinations accessible within tight budgets and I have met some fantastic people along the way. I'm now welcoming guests of my own. I certainly did, including an amazing new man in my life. There is so many more places and experiences in this wonderful world still to see and do.
