Pedestrians coming from Ladysmith town crossing the Klipriver towards the old bowling club, was the only footbridge at the time and its still firmly stands it ground to the day, pic.2 I have taken a screenshot of the bridge as shown by Google earth circled in black and the blue circle is Settlers Bridge about 1km downstream from the footbridge seen in pic. 1 on this post
