Meaning 'Mother of rain', our Marloth Park bush home holds many memories of the families who once owned her, including this original name we found hanging on a lopsided piece of termite-eaten wood. Before i knew what or if the home had a name, i vowed to keep it, whatever it may be. Thankfully i loved it, and here we are! A brand new sign up💛💛

We have been exceptionally spoilt to have this fluffy baby Zebra visit us this week. We are sure this babe is a newborn, as they are still grasping the art of walking. Mommy Zebra is so protective of her babe from the rest of the herd, and carefully arranges herself between her babe and passers by.

MAPULA is a private holiday home situated on the southern boundary of renowned Kruger National Park.

Located inside bush suburb Marloth Park, where fences arent allowed and animals roam freely, Mapula is 400m from the Crocodile River. Predators are spotted daily on the banks of this iconic river, where guests to Marloth Park can cook breakfast on skottels or have sundowners with views over Kruger.

Mapula is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom double storey thatch home. Offering two splash pools, a large verandah with sunken in fire pit boma, two upstairs decks, fully airconditioned with back up inverter.

Mapula sleeps 6 in the bedrooms and an additional 5 upstairs- suitable for kids (4 beds and 1 sleeper couch.)

R300 per person per night until 6 people, and thereafter R150 per person until 11 persons.
