There are no lighthouses in Hermanus (Danger Point is located to the southeast, and Cape Hangklip is located to the west), but this beautiful seaside town does have a big drawcard! Billed as the best land-based whale watching site in the world, this section of Walker Bay has deep water and sheer cliffs which allow visitors to get very close to the Southern Right Whales which grace our shores from about June to November every year.
