The Magical Mongoose is an enchanting retreat in Jacobsbaai with the beach on the other side of the boardwalk. A terrace offers a clear 180-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean. As the sun gracefully descends, the sky transforms into warm hues over the sea, a magical experience that stays forever.
The Magical Mongoose 3 apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking and offers free parking. The unit has a capacity for 4 people with a queen size bed and two single beds. It is ideal for a couple or parents with 1 or 2 kids. The beds are covered with the finest Egyptian cotton and hypo-allergenic pillows.
A restored classic Edwardian octagonal table with contemporary seating forms a center point, with echoes in the octagonal fruit bowl, coasters and lamp.
The kitchenette has a microwave, cutlery and crockery for 4 people, a bar fridge with your complimentary milk, water and wine. We provide instant and filter coffee and a selection of teas, with both sugar and sweetener. Treats include rusks and chocolates. There is a prep bowl / wash basin.
We provide beach towels and bath towels, as well as the luxury of heated towel rails. A separate wash basin, toilet and shower completes the unit.
About staying connected—the laptop station with riempies-chair allows you to tap into superfast internet (200Mbps fiber) ensuring you’re always in touch. The flat screen TV comes with DSTV streaming and is ready for Netflix using your own account.
The terrace outside has 2 comfortable Adirondack chairs, and the most spectacular views. There is extra seating on a bench and a Weber for outside cooking.
