📢🌊SMS the word ONRUS to 33157

*Onrus through as finalist for Western Cape Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar*

Onrus was announced as one of the Western Cape’s Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar finalists on national television on Sunday, 14 April 2024. The other two towns chosen in the regional semi-final are George and De Rust.

Overstrand Municipality Executive Mayor Dr Annelie Rabie said “Having Onrus as a finalist in the popular South African competition honours the village that is responsible for so many fond memories of beach holidays”.

Mayor Rabie called everyone to support Onrus by voting. All that is required is an SMS to 33157 with the word Onrus. SMS costs R1,50 each. Voting closes on 21 April 2024 as 12:00 and you can send as many as 30 SMS's per person.

A win for Onrus will add R1m worth of marketing and promotion for the village.
