Ceramics of Africa was founded by Ruphin Mukaz in 2001 with the aim to enrich peoples lives through ceramics and pottery. Ruphin Mukaz is a skilled ceramist and artist with over 15 years’ experience in ceramic art. He founded Ceramics of Africa in 2001 to sell his hand crafted ceramic art and since the establishment of Ceramics of Africa has been involved in numerous exhibitions and ceramics art a

bd craft training projects in South Africa. The company is also involved in the production of mould cast ceramic ware and planning to eventually launch a ceramics studio and factory that will provide jobs to youths facing unemployment in KwaZulu-Natal. Ruphin is passionate about ceramic art and he seeks to improve people’s lives through art and ceramics. To focus more on empowering youths, he launched the ceramics art training wing of Ceramics of Africa called Clay For Life in 2013. The launch of Clay For Life has also allowed Ceramics of Africa to focus solely on expanding the production of ceramic art and ware while Clay For Life independently runs the ceramic skills training projects. Ceramics of Africa is a growing organisation and seeks to be a part of the solution to the growing unemployment problem in South Africa.
