So the fishing has begun.

Clean water pushing in at the river mouth already. River is really looking great, see you fisherman soon.

While we still sit without power due to flood damage in the area this has not deterred us from our improvements to the property. While not having power has slowed some progress we have pushed a head with other improvements. Slabs have been thrown infrom of the bathrooms by campsite 1 and 2.

So while we were busy with our tiling in the ablutions near Campsite 1 and 2 the rain hit. It really was quite something.

23rd March 2023 Port St Johns was hit with heavy rain. The town was hit hard, thankfully we sustained no damage at all are all safe and sound. Unfortunately our power is still out which is affecting our comms. Thank you to everyone for their messages of concern.

Upgrades Upgrades Upgrades at The Pont. We been very busy doing some much needed maintenance and upgrades. The roof on Units 5, 6 and 7 has been replaced and is looking fantastic.

Bathroom revamp almost complete.

So the revamp of our ablutions has begun. Floors all chipped and ready to be given a fresh make over. Watch this space for the reveal.

With things slowing down Herb has managed to get in some fishing, managing to land this beast he was super chuffed with himself.

The river has definitely improved with fishing this season.

Good Morning all

We hope everyone is safe and well.

We have had a crazy time with water levels rising quite substantially. Late Tuesday evening we were running out in the rain and water to move people and belongs to safety.

You can see from the pictures how high the water rose.

We are thankful that we did not sustain any major damage.

Our thoughts are with those who have lost homes and loved ones it is truly tragic

If you are traveling please travel safe and be vigilant on the roads.
