Wildcoast secrets tour. 20 to 26 September. As part of this amazing trip we will visit Khotso Sethunsas pool. This legendary traditional herbalist was renowned for his powerful medicines for health and prosperity. He frequented this pool from his nearby cottage to perform some of his ceremonies.

AN OUTRAGEOUS ADVENTURE This part of the journey takes us to the Wildcoast and majestic Uzimvubu river, one of the largest in South Africa, with its grade four whitewater rapids and untouched natural scenery. We explore Port St Johns with many stunning view points, meeting the colourful locals, and hiking to Umgazana. Highlights a boat cruise through the mangroves while docking at the seaside village of Umgazana for a visit to Mermaids pool and refreshments. Accommodation is first class and very comfortable.

On this five day adventure you will uncover the magic of one of the last remaining pristine places along our Southern African coastline. This tour is for the venturesome at heart and who are comfortable with trail, canoe and river crossings, catering for the angler and family, specializing in fly and artificial lure. For those interested, a simple fly tying course will be held, using local feathers and materials for that special ‘take home’ fly. While dad is out fishing the family can partake in a number of activities, a trip to Umngazi Spa, boating the Umngazana estuary and mangroves, cultural visits, hiking to places of interest, river cruise on the Umzimvubu River, birding, photography or just lazing on the beach. Explore this unique rugged coastline, rare endemic flora and fauna and fascinating cultural heritage with guide Nico Els, a native to the area. You will be immersed in the magic that is The Wild Coast and never want to leave its spell. Accommodation is luxury and overlooks the Umngazana mangroves.
